War concert

Our recent concert to commemorate the end of the Second World War was a resounding success. The concert started with a plate supper and tea dance, complete with 1940's music. We then took to the stage in fancy dress for the concert, complete with movie pictures to go with the music.

We finished the concert in Big Band format with the piece 'Glen Miller Special'.

Thanks to all those involved (there are too many to name) - the concert took a lot of work but was worth it!
