Blackburn Contest
The Blackburn contest was held at St.Georges Hall on Sunday 7th February. Eleven bands entered the fourth section, with three bands withdrawing from the section. The band chose the piece 'Oceans' by Goff Richards. Pilling won the contest with 197(!) points, three points clear of the next placed band. It is the second time that the band have played 'Oceans' in the last year and the second time they have won.
