Chingle Hall Overnight Stay

On the night of Thursday 17th June, seven members of Pilling Band did a sponsored overnight stay at Chingle Hall. Chingle Hall, near Broughton, is reputed to be the most haunted house in Britain. Although not managing to capture any ghosts during the night, there were a few close encounters - the most notable of which at six in the morning when Neil Redman was 'taken for a ride' by one of the ghosts in resident.

An estimated total of £250 was raised for band funds.
